Thermal Performance

Thermal retention is evaluated under defined test conditions, with results varying by capacity, filling volume, initial temperature, ambient conditions and closure configuration.

As a reference, selected configurations can achieve up to 24 hours of hot retention and up to 36 hours of cold retention under specified test conditions.

For OEM projects, thermal performance can be verified against an agreed test method during sample approval or pre-production inspection.

Construction & Components

The Glass Inner Thermos Vacuum Flask features a glass inner liner enclosed within a vacuum-insulated outer body. Depending on the model, the outer body is available in plastic or stainless steel.

Main Components:
Glass Inner Liner – Beverage-contact inner container.
Vacuum Insulation Layer – Helps reduce heat transfer.
Outer Body – Plastic or stainless steel, depending on the model.
Sealing Ring – Supports closure sealing.
Press-Top Closure – Provides opening and pouring.
Integrated Handle – Supports carrying and serving.

Sealing & Handling

The press-top closure uses a sealing ring to help maintain a secure seal during normal use. The integrated handle supports carrying and pouring, particularly for larger-capacity models.

Closure and sealing configurations can be confirmed during OEM sample approval.

FAQ

Q: Do you provide FDA or LFGB test documentation?

A: SGS test reports can be provided for applicable food-contact material and product configurations. For projects requiring FDA or LFGB compliance, the exact regulatory requirements and testing scope should be confirmed according to the destination market and final product materials.

Q: How do you inspect glass liners before production?

A: Incoming glass liners can be checked for dimensional accuracy, surface defects and other requirements defined in the product specification before they are released for production.

Q: How do you test vacuum performance?

A: Vacuum integrity is checked during production according to the applicable manufacturing inspection procedure. Additional thermal-performance testing can be conducted on production batches according to the agreed test requirements.

Q: How is the glass liner protected during transportation?

A: The glass liner is enclosed within the outer body, while the export packaging uses individual product protection, retail boxes, internal partitions where required and reinforced master cartons to reduce movement and impact during transportation.

Q: Can you provide replacement glass liners?

A: Replacement glass liner availability depends on the selected model and configuration. For projects requiring replacement components or long-term aftermarket support, this requirement can be confirmed before order placement.

Q: What is your standard payment term?

A: The standard payment term is 30% deposit and 70% against B/L copy. For qualifying volume orders and long-term business relationships, other payment arrangements such as L/C at sight may be discussed subject to approval.

Q: What is the lead time for OEM orders?

A: Typical production lead time is 20–35 days after deposit, but the actual schedule depends on order quantity, product configuration, customization, packaging and production capacity.

Q: How do you protect our OEM designs and tooling?

A: Customer-provided artwork, product specifications, custom tooling and other proprietary information are handled according to the agreed confidentiality and intellectual-property requirements. NDA arrangements can be discussed for projects requiring additional protection.
